Fast Technology, February 15th - Geely's first pure electric MPV, the L380 prototype, has officially rolled off the production line. Recently, relevant information such as the range of Geely's Yu Zhen L380 has been revealed online.
According to reports, the LEVC L380 single-motor version has been filed for completion, with a maximum power of 200 kilowatts, paired with a ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of 116 kilowatt-hours, achieving a pure electric range of up to 650 kilometers.
Under the SOA architecture, the vehicle also supports replenishing enough electricity to extend the range by 200 kilometers in just 10 minutes.
As a recap, the L380 is crafted with a brand-new design language, measuring 5316/1998/1940 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3185 millimeters, much larger than the previously released Ideal MEGA.
Based on the previously filed information, the vehicle can be equipped with monochrome body, concealed door handles, front and rear cameras, offering four styles of wheel rims and layouts with 6 or 8 seats.
In the 6-seater version, there are abundant storage compartments beneath the cargo floor, while in the 8-seater variant, the fourth-row seats can be stowed under the floor.
According to officials, this vehicle will be the first to adopt the SOA architecture, featuring the ODP flat-middle-position technology, allowing for minimized front cabin space and maximized seating area.
In addition, the SOA architecture has been specially designed to maximize space utilization. The last row of seats can be folded down, reclined backward, and sunk to create additional storage space, expanding the luggage compartment to 163 liters.
In terms of power, vehicles with SOA architecture will be equipped with CATL's CTP battery system, providing a battery capacity ranging from 73 to 120 kilowatt-hours. With a range of over 600 kilometers, it supports rapid charging, replenishing up to 200 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.
It's worth mentioning that the vehicle also features front double ball-joint MacPherson struts and rear high-load-bearing multi-link independent suspension, supporting a combination of CDC and air spring suspension.
