Fast Technology, February 15th - Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën announced: To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the company has introduced special benefits for loyal customers.
According to reports, there are a total of 1314 units of the Citroën C5 X and 520 units of the 408X available for this welfare program. Existing customers can receive a maximum subsidy of up to 85,000 CNY when trading in their old vehicles.
Officials stated: "This campaign mainly targets existing customers of Dongfeng Citroën & Dongfeng Peugeot (including imports). Existing customers who currently trade in for the Citroën C5 X and 408X can enjoy a basic trade-in subsidy of 10,000 CNY + an additional subsidy of 3,000 CNY for every year of the old vehicle's age, up to a maximum of 85,000 CNY."
Additionally, customers can benefit from a 20% down payment low-interest financial product and a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty.
As a reference, the new Dongfeng Citroën C5 X was launched in April 2023, with a price range of 143,701 to 186,701 CNY.
The car is equipped with the latest 1.6T turbocharged all-aluminum engine, which boasts a maximum power of 129 kilowatts and peak torque of 250 Newton-meters. In terms of transmission, it is paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Peugeot 408X is priced at 145,700 to 179,700 CNY. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 470518591502mm (lengthwidthheight) with a wheelbase of 2787mm. Additionally, the 408X boasts spacious rear seating, with knee space reaching 188mm and a conventional trunk volume of 536 liters, expandable to 1611 liters when folded down.
The vehicle is equipped with a standard 1.6T engine, delivering a maximum power of 129 kilowatts. The transmission is paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic gearbox. The minimum ground clearance for the vehicle is 190mm.
