Tech news on February 15th, digital blogger @DigitalChatStation indicated that both Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic6 RSR flagship smartphones were approved for network access on the same day, and both are 5G satellite mobile terminals, heralding the start of a new round of image flagship showdown.
The network access information for Xiaomi 14 Ultra shows that the device model is 24031PN0DC, and the device name is Satellite Mobile Terminal, supporting the TianTong satellite communication standard.
The device model of the Honor Magic6 RSR is displayed as BVL-AN20, with the device name being Satellite Mobile Terminal, also supporting the TianTong satellite communication system.
According to relevant leaks, the front of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a fully equal-depth curved screen with a resolution of 2K. The form factor will be a centered punch-hole design, powered by the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, featuring a Huaxing Optoelectronics C8 screen, an ultra-large 5000mAh battery, and a leather-like body.
There will also be an epic upgrade in terms of imaging. The main camera CMOS will be upgraded to the Sony Exmor RLYT900, featuring OIS optical image stabilization, and continuing to support stepless variable aperture. Additionally, there will be three IMX858 auxiliary cameras, including a telephoto lens, a periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Honor Magic6 RSR is the first flagship with a straight screen jointly designed by Honor and Porsche Design. It will be equipped with the latest OV50K sensor, featuring a 1-inch ultra-large bottom, comparable to Sony's 1-inch sensor LYT900.
The device will also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, paired with the Honor Qinghai Lake battery.
