On February 10th, the first day of the Lunar New Year, William Li, founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, sent an internal message to all employees, extending holiday greetings to those who are working during the Spring Festival.
"Although the Spring Festival holiday has begun, NIO remains open. Over 10,000 colleagues from nearly 50 different positions are still on duty. Everyone, thank you for your hard work!"
Li revealed in the message that during this Spring Festival, NIO employees from various sectors including energy operations, service operations, road services, stores, research and development, and manufacturing are sticking to their posts, ensuring seamless travel and services for users throughout the holiday period.
On the night of the first day of the lunar new year, a NIO roadside assistance officer trekked for 3 hours to reach a mountain summit over 1000 meters above sea level to help a user repair a damaged tire.
In Jinan, Shandong Province, extreme heavy snowfall has hit the area. NIO Power Swap station attendants are currently clearing snow and ice at the swap stations to ensure smooth travel.
Among them, employees from NIO Energy Operations, Service Operations, and Road Services have become the main force in providing energy replenishment and emergency services for self-driving travelers during the Spring Festival.
Across more than 480 stores in 48 regions nationwide, nearly 5,000 sales staff are on duty to serve in-store customers.
Additionally, NIO stores have prepared activities such as New Year red envelopes, family portraits for the Spring Festival, Niu House reunion dinners, and Spring Festival movie screenings to create a warm holiday atmosphere for users.
In the 124 "Road Service Supply Stations" located in 63 cities across the country, NIO service representatives provide hot drinks, local specialty foods, and other supplies for users on the go.
In his letter, Li Bin revealed that the research and development work during the holiday period is still ongoing. NIO's vehicle engineering department is conducting vehicle tests across various locations to ensure that new cars are delivered on time with high quality. Departments such as the digital cockpit, autonomous driving, and digital systems are still advancing the maintenance, operation, and iterative upgrade of intelligent systems, handling user feedback during the holiday period.
It is reported that "Spring Festival Service Never Closes" has been a tradition of NIO for many years. On January 25, NIO announced that in addition to characteristic services such as Road Service Supply Stations and "Accompanying You Home," the "Free Service Fee for Highway Battery Swap" policy is once again being implemented.
From February 8 to February 18, 2024, NIO users (including those without battery swap rights) can enjoy the policy of free service fees at 774 highway battery swap stations in 7 vertical and 6 horizontal city clusters across the country.
