TechJunkie, February 11th - According to media reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has relocated the registration of his brain-machine company Neuralink to Nevada.
It's understood that previously, due to challenges from Tesla shareholders, Tesla CEO Elon Musk had his $55 billion compensation plan rejected by Chief Judge Kathleen McCormick of the Delaware Chancery Court.
The judge deemed Tesla's 2018 massive stock option award to Musk as unfair, but Musk had already vested all awards, totaling over $55 billion.
In response, Musk expressed dissatisfaction with this ruling on the X platform, stating, "Don't register companies in Delaware."
Musk further stated that Judge Kathleen McCormick, who ruled against the compensation plan, has "done more harm to Delaware than any judge in modern history."
Additionally, Neuralink recently completed its first human implant surgery, with the patient currently recovering well.
Neuralink's brain-machine interface device is an invasive brain implant that controls external devices through neural signals, helping severely paralyzed patients regain the ability to communicate with the outside world.
Previously, Musk had expressed that Neuralink's short-term goal is to enable paralyzed individuals to type with their minds, and in the future, it could facilitate walking for paralyzed individuals, enable blind individuals to see, and ultimately achieve "symbiosis between humans and machines."
