TechNews, February 10 - According to media reports, Apple is set to launch the iPad Air series tablets, available in two sizes: 10.9 inches and 12.9 inches. The 12.9-inch variant is the largest iPad Air in Apple's history, and both feature LCD screens.
Based on leaked schematics, the iPad Air's camera design resembles that of the iPhone X, featuring a protruding camera module with a flash located beneath it.
Notably, the new iPad Air from Apple supports the Magic Keyboard.
Mark Gurman pointed out that the new iPad Air can be paired with the existing Magic Keyboard, and Apple won't be creating a new Magic Keyboard specifically for it. The new Magic Keyboard remains exclusive to the iPad Pro.
Additionally, the iPad Air will feature the M2 chip, which utilizes second-generation 5-nanometer technology. It integrates a total of 20 billion transistors and adopts an 8-core processor design, including 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores.
Compared to the previous generation, the M2 CPU offers an 18% increase in performance, the GPU sees a 35% performance boost, and the neural engine's speed has been enhanced by 40%.
