According to the latest from Kuai Technology on February 12th, the Huawei P70 series is set to be launched around March. The new devices will be equipped with the next generation Kirin 9000 series chipset, supporting 5G networks.
As per the latest leak by blogger Smart Pikachu, the Huawei P70 series will come standard with a 1.5K screen and satellite communication across all models.
Based on current supply chain information, the standard version and the Pro version are sized at 6.58 inches and 6.8 inches respectively, adopting a similar design approach to the Mate 60 series with an equally deep micro-curved display.
Both models support LTPO adaptive refresh rate technology, combining to ensure smoothness, clarity, and energy efficiency, making it the optimal choice currently available.
It's worth noting that there's a slight difference in chip frequencies between the Standard and Pro versions. The Pro version provides more stable and robust output under heavy loads.
As for imaging, it's a focal point of the P70 series. The Pro version will feature the Sony IMX989 as its main camera, boasting a complete 1-inch sensor, making it Huawei's first 1-inch imaging smartphone. Leaks suggest it will be tuned to be the most powerful IMX989 yet.
