According to reports from February 10th by Fast Technology, among the three models in the RTX 40 SUPER series, the RTX 4080 SUPER is the only one that has both upgraded specifications and a reduced price. However, even with this adjustment, its price, which is $200 lower than the launch price (approximately ¥1400 lower domestically), has led to near sell-outs in the North American market.
Foreign media outlets have observed that after one week of release, the RTX 4080 SUPER is priced at $999.99 and is unavailable for online delivery, but it can be picked up in-store.
This situation is evident across multiple e-commerce platforms such as Best Buy, Newegg, and Amazon, where pages are almost out of stock.
Interestingly, the prices of the Zotac GAMING RTX 4080 SUPER TI Trinity OC White and the MSI RTX 4080 Super Expert, which exceed the suggested retail price, remain unaffected, priced at $1049.99 and $1149.99, respectively.
Foreign media also noted a sharp contrast with the RTX 4070 SUPER and RTX 4070 TI SUPER, which have ample supply.
It is reported that the RTX 4080 SUPER features a fully-powered AD103 core with 7 sets of GPC, 14 sets of TPC, and 80 sets of SM units. Each SM unit contains 128 CUDA cores, totaling 10240 stream processors, which is only a 5% difference compared to the RTX 4080.
The memory has a 256-bit width, with a memory frequency of 23Gbps and a memory bandwidth of 736GB/s, representing a slight improvement over the RTX 4080.
