However, it's clear that desktop PCs have better cooling conditions than laptops, so this feature is completely unnecessary and can even affect the performance of the Ryzen 8000G APU when enabled by default.
After updating to the new BIOS version released by MSI, the STAPM feature will be disabled by default. As a result, the performance of the Ryzen 8000G APU will be fully utilized without being affected by STAPM.
AMD has acknowledged this issue, and other manufacturers will release updated BIOS versions to address it later.
