Former CMO of Meizu Technology and current founder of Angry Cat Technology, Li Nan, posted on Weibo claiming that Huawei is developing a Vision headset that will be priced lower than Apple's Vision Pro.
And also provided information about the Huawei Vision: it utilizes self-developed chips for achieving real-time gesture spatial operations.
It is equipped with a Sony 4K Micro-OLED screen (expected to be shipped in 6 months), weighing 350 grams, with an estimated price around 15,000 RMB.
Compared to the Apple Vision Pro, the Huawei Vision is lighter in weight and more affordable.
It's reported that because Huawei registered the "Vision Pro" trademark in May 2019, which falls under international classification 9, covering various goods and services such as LCD TVs, head-mounted virtual reality devices, wireless equipment, and more.
Additionally, besides the Vision Glass, Huawei also uses the related Vision trademark on the Vision smart screen.
Therefore, if Apple's Vision Pro wants to be launched in China, it may need to change its name to avoid infringement.
