TechFast reported on February 8th that Apple has recently listed refurbished MacBook Pro 14-inch models equipped with M3 chips for sale in the United States. Priced at $1359, they are $240 cheaper compared to the brand new models, which is approximately ¥1726.
However, at present, Apple only offers the standard M3 version and hasn't released versions with M3 Pro or M3 Max configurations.
The M3 chip is Apple's first 3nm chip, boasting a whopping 250 billion transistors, which is 50 billion more than the M2. It shares the same number of CPU and GPU cores as the M2, featuring 8 CPU cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency) and 10 GPU cores.
Although it's a refurbished version, Apple rigorously tests, cleans, and replaces appropriate accessories before repackaging, ensuring there are no quality issues with the product.
Additionally, certified refurbished products come with a one-year warranty, a 14-day return policy, and eligibility for various promotions such as free shipping and installment payments, making them equivalent to brand new versions.
