In the first quarter of 2024, sales dropped by 8% compared to the first quarter of 2023, marking the sixth consecutive quarter of decline in smartphone sales in the US. Despite this trend, Apple continues to dominate the market with a share exceeding 50%, reaching 52%, which is consistent with the same period last year. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0510%2F2de00f47j00sd8y6n000ld000go00bwg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg In the first quarter of 2024, the market share of smartphone brands in the United States is as follows:

Samsung, ranking second, has a market share of 31%, showing an increase from 27% during the same period last year. This share marks Samsung's best performance in a quarter in nearly four years, mainly attributed to the launch of the new Galaxy S24 series, further enhancing its position within the Android phone market. Motorola, ranking third, also saw a slight increase in market share from 8% to 9% compared to the same period last year. The top three brands already hold over 90% of the total market share, with the remaining 8% being shared among manufacturers like TCL and Google.

Analysts from the agency predict that the market is not expected to recover until at least the third quarter. By then, the introduction of new smartphone models, especially Apple's iPhone 16 series with its AI capabilities, may attract consumer interest and drive an overall increase in sales in the U.S. smartphone market.
