On April 15th, Huawei officially released a teaser video for "P70."
Yu Chengdong announced that the Huawei P series is officially upgraded to "Huawei Pura," and the originally planned P70 will be the first product of the new series.
It is reported that the Huawei P series was first launched in 2012 and has a history of 12 years since its inception, with the debut model being the Ascend P1.
Starting from the Ascend P2 in 2013, Huawei began using its self-developed processor, the HiSilicon K3V2, and has since persisted in developing its own processors, which led to the creation of the Kirin series and Huawei's high-end flagship devices.
In 2016, the P9 was released, marking Huawei's first collaboration with Leica for a flagship camera, and it pioneered the use of dual-camera systems in the industry, paving the way for Huawei's leadership in mobile photography.
The P20 series, released in 2018, kicked off the era of night photography, enabling smartphones to capture clear and bright images even in low-light conditions, once again leading the industry.
In 2020, with the release of the P30 series, Huawei introduced the RYYB sensor for the first time, increasing the amount of light by 40% compared to RGBG sensors. This led to a significant improvement in night photography performance, earning it the title of "night vision device."
With these innovations, Huawei has firmly established itself as synonymous with high-end flagship imaging.
In addition to its imaging prowess, outstanding aesthetic design is also a significant feature of the P series. From the metal carving craftsmanship of the P9, the metal drilling craftsmanship of the P10, the gradient design of the P20, to the "Sky Realm" of the P30... and now the "Coco White" of the P60, each one sets a new standard in industry aesthetics.
