On March 27th, it was reported that DCarDi released the latest edition of the "Pure Electric MPV Terminal Sales Ranking" for the period from March 18th to March 24th.
According to the ranking, Ideal MEGA clinched the top spot in weekly sales of pure electric MPVs with a total of 1031 units sold, followed closely by Xiaopeng X9 at second place.
Meanwhile, the previously acclaimed models, JiKe 009 and Tencent D9 EV, recorded weekly sales of 85 units and 70 units respectively, landing them at seventh and eighth positions in the ranking.
It's reported that the Ideal MEGA started deliveries on March 11th, with sales exceeding 2100 units in the past two weeks. With an average of 1000 units per week, the monthly sales of the Ideal MEGA are expected to surpass 4000 units. This is quite commendable for a domestically produced pure electric MPV priced at 559,800 CNY.
However, even so, the sales of the Ideal MEGA have not yet reached the official pre-estimated target set by Ideal Motors. CEO Li Xiang previously expressed confidence that the MEGA would become the top-selling product with over 500,000 units sold, regardless of energy or body form. The current sales leader with over 500,000 units sold is the BMW X5, with a monthly average of 8000 units in 2023. Ideal MEGA still has a certain gap in sales compared to this figure.
